The trouble with long distance relationships.

How is it possible to maintain relationships when the people involved are separated by too long a distance to permit frequent contact? Though my own partner and I live together, both of us are working and our work demands that we travel a lot, and so, see very little of each other. When we are not travelling, our work hours tend to differ, meaning less time to cozy up together. I wonder how others handle issues like this.

It's really not all that hard, or different from your situation. Before i was married i lived 12hrs away in a differnt country from my now husband. We mad it work, you have to be strong, you have to be trusting and you have to be committed to wanting to make it work. With the internet now its not that much of a 'long distance' thing. You can chat online, chat on the phone, there's lots of ways to have constant contact without being physically with the person you love.
