What would your Dream Marriage be like?(the dress, church etc)

Every woman has a fantasy wedding. From the wedding dress, to the church, to the bridal bouquet to the motiff... My Dream Wedding would be in the Carmel Church in Batangas because it looks so solemn there... The wedding gown would have to be a tube gown with a loooooooongggg train and long veil... FLowers would have to be big tulips with a mixture of roses. Mottiff? (for the bridal entourage) would be sea green (as of the moment) And the reception would have to be in Fernwood Gardens... What's your dream wedding?

Carmel Church in Lipa City? Yes, that is a nice church and it is really very quiet there because the nuns are so strict. :) Hmmm, Fernwood Gardens is in Quezon City but you want to get married in Batangas. Quite far, huh? But Fernwood Gardens is really a nice place so I understand why you want to have your wedding reception there. :) I have not really thought much about my dream wedding. As of the moment, there are only two things about my future wedding that I am sure of... I will get married in Caleregua Church, Nasugbu, Batangas and the groom would be my current boyfriend. :)

oh well if I have to get married in Carmel Church in Lipa I would have to change the reception hehehe. My bestfriend told me that Calaruega Church is a nice church and is really solemn. She said that there's a myth that couples who visit that church end up getting married = ) I want to bring my current boyfriend there. I guess it's near tagaytay right?

I want a gown that is not white - I would prefer something red - I think it would be beautiful. I would like to have the ceremony outside during the fall, since I live here Arizona, the weather would not be too bad. I think that the colors I would choose would be simple black and white dresses for the bridesmaids, with the maid of honor in an all black dress with red accents to set her apart. I think that I would like to have carnations for flowers. For the reception, a big picnic!

Ah it would be a lot different then running off to a small chapel in a forest... it was just me and him and the minister. That was it. I did not wear a dress or anythign like that. Then we had a huge bbq after wards. I would love to have a cerimony with a long dress and flowers. I would love to get all dressed up! Also I dont care where the reception was at just as long as it had some music for me to dance to. But we all do things that are silly. Hope ot happens for you.

I'm already married and the wedding I had was my dream wedding. It had a theater theme (our common interest and we both love acting in stage plays). The wedding ceremony itself was traditional. It was at San Beda Church. We made eour own vows. I had on a simple tube gown with a long veil but short train. I walked alone until the middle of the isle where I was met by my mom and brother. The reception was at the Good Shepherd Garden of College of the Holy Spirit (my husband and I were professors there), it was just right beside San BEda Church so guests just walked to the reception. Our tables were decorated with masks made by my brother, our invitation looked like a premier ticket, our wedding/reception was divided into ACTS, for entertainment we had travel mimes and a mime show depicting our love story. During the reception, our bridesmaids, groomsmen, maid of honor and bestman entered with hand-held masks. We ended the evening with a curtain call =)

We had the time of our lives during the whole celebration. it was just what we wanted---given the chance to do it over again, we wouldn't change a single thing! =)

If everything turns out well, I would love to have my wedding in the Cebu Cathedral (that's where my parent's got wed). I love all shades of purple, but my boyfriend's mom has once kid us not to have dark purple as our motif ocz it's somehow gloomy. Well, I gave a thought for lavender or a monochromatic purple thingy...the later is pretty cute coz I once attended a wedding with that motif way back college. For the reception, I wanted it at the Shangri-La Hotel here in Cebu but am not pretty sure if we can afford the package (it's just a dream anyways..LOL)... and I also wanted to add a little twists on the ceremony itself, I wanted my groom singing as I march down the aisle while he waits for me near the altar. And I also would like to do the same thing as what Lea Salonga did during her wedding, sing the first two stanzas of "Two Words" before my part as we exchange vows. Well, everyone's entitled to dream..I just hope mine could come real.. :)

How sweet...I like the part wherein your groom sings to you and you sing to him as well before you exchange vows. Your dream could become real if you really prepare for it = )

Only 1 year and 3.5 months until my wedding :D For now we have planned... Outdoor reception in June in the botanical gardens in this beautiful park. Maybe lilies or tiger-lilies for flowers. Medieval type theme.. this is one of my top options for my dress. I haven't decided yet. http://www.katrinamariedesigns.com/WG302M.jpg and a HUGE BBQ reception afterwards. I'm really excited.

My dream wedding is to be held at the cathedral at our place then i want to wear a backless gown that is long enough to reach the half of the cathedral. Then the reception would be at the Marco Polo. Hmmm? When would it be? Hope i could have my dream man too to be perfect.

Nice topic =) Anyway, my boyfriend for 12 1/2 years are planning to tie the knot on February next year. We have 3 choices of church: San Sebastian Church-Manila (from where I got my college degree), San Agustin Church (in Malate) & Immaculate Concepcion Church (near Claret School where he graduated Highschool). He plans to wear coat & tie while I want white or cream for my bare-back gown. The entourage will be wearing a pastel-colored dresses. =)

I don't have a 'dream' wedding. If I ever get married it'll be because I'm in love and want to spend my life with someone. The ceremony isn't important to me, I can't jusify spending that much money on one day when you could use it to build a life together. Maybe not the typical response of a woman, but that's how I feel!!

i'm one of the few women that don't have a fantasy wedding. as a matter of fact, i think that i would prefer getting married in front of the justice of the peace and have a wonderful honeymoon on the greek isles and then come back to my dream home. i just can't justify spending so much money on the flowers, the reception, the food for everyone else to eat, the cake, the dress, blah, blah, blah. i'd rather make sure that we had a house to live in and a nice getaway for the two of us.

I would wear a red dress, and my Sweetheart would wear something spectacular (we haven't decided yet). My friend Svetlana would be my maid of honour, and my sister, Sweetheart's daughters. We'd have it outside, or in some place unique. Music would be Russian love songs, and bridesmaids would wear dark blue velvet or satin dresses.

I have never dated yet but I do intend to marry. I hope by time I turn 30. A few years back I became obessed with weddings and planned mine out. I still have the details down in a notebook I did keep. I intend to use most of it when I finally do wed. What I can describe is the dress very beautiful kinda very light almost white pink. NO sleeves. Its really beautiful. The bridesmaids dresses will be a light yellow. The reason is I love sunflowers which will be my theme. I will have sunflowers all over the church, where we eat and maybe even carry some. That our carry my dog. I think carrying her with flowers would be a cute way to include her. Shes white afterall and I love her so much! I have songs picked out to dance to. I love KC & Jo Jo's "All My Life" or "Inspiration" by Chicago. Thats all I can say off the top of my head :)) heehee

My dream wedding would actually be very small, and i guess it wouldnt matter what kind of wedding i had as long as i really loved the person i was marrying, because that would really make it a dream marriage.

I got married at the courthouse so it was cheap and easy. But if I were to renew my vows I would love a big outdoor wedding near the beach or in a vineyard. I would have a big white dress or even red. I'm not much on conventionalism so I would want something totaly different but with tradition touches. I would even go so far as having a black dree and white dresses for the bridesmaids.
