While I look at the human history and look at ourselves today, i dont find much difference... Is religion still not driving us? Most of the wars that have occured in human history are between different religions, and that drove them to fight.. but as of today are we really fighting for any good reason(as world leaders claim) or is it still the religion factor thats making us fight?

I don't think religion makes us fight - I think it is used as an excuse. Wars always focus on the differences between people - and ignore the similarities. The goal in war is to make the opponent look less human than you. War is without a doubt one of the most inane things that human beings do!

I would like to disagree with you there... most of the historian wars were never religious fights ,,, look into deeper history and you'll recognise the fight was all power fight ,,, times of Alexander and aladamas and some more war fights between greeks and roman empires ... even if we dig into the indian history ... it was never about religion it was all about acquiring territories and the fight of becoming a super power... SMART PEOPLE tend to use RELIGION as there weapon,,, look at the common people around you ... do they really care of what religion you were born and brought up in Every single middle class people is more concerned about his income as compared to his religion ... and Powerfull and influential men use their powers to manipulate the atmosphere and use religions as a weapon.... What do you think ,,, if OSAMA BIN LADEN ... used some other stuff than religion do you really think he would have got the support what he gets right now its the orthodox psychology and manipulated and corrupted minds that cause fights and wars not religions
