what is meditation?

MEDITATION The Technique of Meditation consist of simply lifting one`s attention from the active surface level of mind to minds depth where thinking begins..it consists of giving the attention an inward turn by easily thinking a singal thought ..in this way mind remains active ..but is left undirected ..evetually awareness settles down completely. and gain the status of pure awareness.
