Hiya, some good tips already posted above. From my brief experience here so far, it appears to be that every discussion you reply to directly gives you an additional number by your name in brackets, at the moment you have 23 which means you've written 23 comments or responses to discussions. The more you write the more your points will go up and when you hit 100 you'll see the star appear by your name. I don't really know how the star rating is worked out but when I hit 100 I had a 4 star, then a few hours later it was a 6 star, a couple of days later it went down to 5 and yesterday it went to an 8. I'm no wiser as to how it's happening but I can only assume that people are rating my responses to discussions positively. I can see that you've started quite a few new discussions - I think it would be helpful to have a browse around other people's discussions and write some responses on topics that are of interest to you and on which you can write a good response. Try to avoid short replies such as "I agree" or "I think you're right" as I don't think these get rated and I think MyLot will delete posts like that. I hope this has helped you somewhat. x

hi! you need to get to your 100th post before you receive your first star. the more positive ratings you get from various posts and responses you put here, the higher your reputation will be... ^_^

Start posting 20-30 times a day, at least, and you'll see the fisrt start to appear maybe 2-3 days after. Follow that and you'll see results. Good luck!

hey friend, welcome to mylot first, you will get your star with rating only after reaching 100 posts,well how fast you can make money depends on various factors, first of all, how long time you spends on mylot, second one how quality replies to discussions you posts, as here i spends hardly one or two hours per day, but i keep on searching good discussions to respond, keep uploading photos, which boosts your earnings, it doesn't make sense with number of posts when you posts one liner response, so just avoid that, hope my infornation will help you,rest best luck and happy earning!!!

I am fairly new, too. I believe you have to have (100) by your name...which I believe, means that you have posted or responded to 100 discussions.
