Do you hang your clothes immediatly after they get out of the dryer or do you pile them up to iron? I try to hang mine up so that when and if I do iron them it is easier and faster once the iron touches them. What do you hang up?Also do you fold your underware? My husband "dictates" they need to be folded, So I fold his and just lay mine flat in in the drawer Alos 2. How do you fold your sock or do you just put them in a basket. My parents always had them in a basket and it drove me insane. Now I fold mine army style by folding one over the other, whist my husband won't "allow" it. His must be folded and matched heal to toe. So weird. How do you fold your shirts? I am always having a argument about this with him. He likes it like the stores, I like it so that it fits. Both are nice I think How do you fold your towls? It seems there are soooo many ways to do this one. I would have put these on differnt discussion, but they are all related so I would find it redundent in a way. Thanks

I have to hang my clothes up to dry as my drier doesn't quite get them dry enough to hang. I have to iron cotton things now I have a drier which is annoying as I hardly ever ironed before. I don't fold my underwear I just put it in a draw, and I fold my socks like you folded over each other in pairs. I fold my towels into squares, and I hang shirts up on hangers.

Actually we use the dryer in our building and rarely have to iron anything. I hang stuff on the line in the nicer months though...so it can dry outside. I usually just bundle the socks and I fold the towels in half and stack them in the hallway closet...I don't have the patience to iron everything...only if I think it needs it or is wrinkled...

I don't iron, or rather I iron only when I HAVE too. lol So clothes go from dryer to basket to bedroom to fold. I never just leave things in a basket. Ever...once they are out of the dryer they get put away. Socks and underwear both get folded my way, though I am not sure what that way is or rather how to explain it. My shirts get hanged up and my husbands get folded. Arms in bottom up and top over that. Towels get folded in half then another half and then in thirds.

our dryer will do for about 55 minutes.so mostly all my cloths will be dried and even i can feel the hot in my hand when i take the cloths out.so i will just fold and place it in the cupboard.if i want to iron then i will do it before wearing that dress.i will be folding underwears.he will be very much particular and hence he will ask me to fold the shirts before iron also in the same way as in the shops.i have to arrange the socks heal to toe matched and two folded.towels should be folded such that they occupy less space.

I never iron clothes anymore. I put the dryer on light dry, and yank the clothes out and shake them before the cyle is over. I hang them on a hanger, and they look great. Yes, I fold underwear of my husbands, and throw mine into the draw. I wear string thongs, so not much to fold. Hehhe. I don't have shirts to fold, and the only socks worn are my husbands. I just roll them into a ball together. Half the time they don't match, as I don't see that well. Hehhehe. Hubby will fix it when he goes to put them on. My towels are folded two different ways, depending on how much time I have. I either fold them in half, and then over again. Or I will fold them in half, and bring each side in folded, and fold in half.

When we go to the laundromat these days I use the dryers. We get the things out and divide them amongst whose is whose. The socks are matched and the top pulled over to keep the pair together. Footies are pinned together. Undies are folded and ready to be put into the drawer when we get home. T shirts if white are folded and ready for the drawer the colored ones he wears to work are hung on hangers. We do not iron anything. Nothing really needs ironed anymore with the new fabrics. Towels are folded in thirds and then over in half. That doesn't really matter anyway, must the way I do it.

i fold my clothes along with crease rather then hanging them. when ever i needed to iron they will be just ready to wear. 1. i also fold underwears..i dont know why..hhehe 2. i also folds up socks in two or three rolls not in army style. 3. i also fold shirts in store style that way the crease of the shirt become perfect and goes away after ironing. 4. i fold towels in just simple way like everybody do no specific style. so i think eevry question is been answered. ia lso wanana dd one thing that my husabnd not influence on any thing he just want his things on time no matter how i keep them?

Lol... your husband is kinda girly a little don't you think? Lol... I'm just teasing him a little, that's all. Yeah, I always hang my clothes immediately after they get out of the dryer. I only iron the clothes which I am going to wear that day because if I iron them earlier it would not look as neatly pressed. I fold my socks one top of another and then I made it into the shape of a ball so that it won't get lose. I fold my shirts like in the store but only t-shirts. I hang all other shirts and dresses. I fold trousers neatly but not like in stores, just to make it fit in and will iron it when it's going to be used. For towels I just fold it so that it fits into the drawer, that's all. No rules for that.

I hang my clothes up once they are dried. We don't wear dress clothes to often so I iron them when I need them. I do fold my underware and his in threes and in half. I just fold my socks in half. I fold then in half and in threes. Not to picky there either. My husband don't say a hole lot about how i fold his clothes which is a good thing or he would be doing his own like I did to my kids when they were growing up.

I try to hang my clothes up, or fold them, as soon as they come out of the dryer. I find I hardly have to iron things at all - the odd top, and anything I'm wearing for smart occasions - for example, concerts. I can never be bothered to fold my underwear to be honest - it just seems too fiddly. At the same time, I do fold my boyfriend's underwear. Perhaps it's because they contain more material. Socks, I fold one other the other, so I don't lose them in the sock drawer. For shirts, I do it the standard way (not the store way): Fold the sleeves/arms in, then fold in half - maybe in half again, depending on how big they are. Towels just get folded in half over and over until they're the right size for the space they have to fit!

I always hang my clothes up after they get out of the dryer, it helps prevent them from getting all wrinkley and saves me time ironing them. I just toss my socks in the drawer, they don't need to be folded or anything, least I don't think so.

I hang my clothes to finish drying because the laundrymat dryers is turned down very low and it takes more money to dry the clothes. Some of the damp clothes I iron.

I put the ironing pile on one side and then fold the rest. I like to leave them a little damp because that is what really facilitates the ironing and makes it much easier. What do you think? Especially items like men's trousers that need that crease down the middle and it has to be even and perfect. I am terribe and extremely fussy with the ironing. I hate to think about going out un ironed lol.

I pile the clothes out of the dryer and then fold them. Most of our clothes don't get really wrinkled and the ones that do I just iron before I wear them because even if I ironed them right before putting them in the closet, they would be wrinkled by the time I got to wear them. I do have an awful lot of clothes!

My poor clothes. They are not in a dryer, they get hung on the line to dry or put in an airing cupboard. I normally each item as it dries. At the moment I have half a load on the line and am keeping a very close eye on the line. I took the other half off the line a few minutes ago and they are lying on the staircase waiting to be put away. I buy wrinkle free items, so ironing rarely needs to be considered!
