Could you trust a police officer?

I would trust a police officer to help me more than I would any other stranger on the street. I find that certain ethnicities trust police officers less than others, so most people's level of trust depends on how they were brought up and what experiences they've had with cops. If you've done stuff to get in trouble, then you probably don't trust police...but it's not their fault, it's your own. I agree with medooley, though, they are humans and they do make mistakes and do the wrong thing sometimes. But so does everyone else. We SHOULD be able to trust everyone, but we all know that's just not so.

Yes they can be... but they are human and they also can not be. It all depends on the individual, of course this is not limited to police officers, but everyone.

no way i would never trust them like some think we should but just watch tv. there is things on all the time about cops doing things. we should beable to trust them but we can't.
