Well to me personally you have Family Love, Intimate Love, Friendship Love and Friendship all of which are different Family Love = the unconditional, neverending love you have for your children, sometimes siblings/parents/relatives etc Intimate Love = this person is your equal, your lover, confidant, someone you mesh with mentally, emotionally, sexually and for some ppl spiritually Friendship Love = your dearest friends, the ppl you feel are family to you... Friendship = ppl you hang with, chit chat with, see on occasion but dont share your deepest darkest secrets with...but you have a blast together and some great laughs etc.. thats the difference for me between them all...

I think you do know the difference. Everybody does, because we feel it. It's the hormones that tell us what's the difference. That's why they say it's a chemical reaction... You know the difference aswell, unless your feelings are num. I think you just want us to talk about it, for a certain reason... Good luck with the discussion. :)

First of all, I love my friends. I am blessed to say that I have worked at friendships so that I could a special connection. I tell my friends that I love them because part of love is being intertwined spiritually (in my opinion). In fact some of my friendships (male and female) are on a deeper level than those of family members I love. I think the difference is that I made the choices in the friendships. We don't choose our families but we are raised with guidelines about how we should love, honor and respect. New friends meet us on a level playing ground and how strong it is depends on our individual efforts. I don't use the words love or friendship lightly - but whether its family or friends I make sure they know I love them (I tell them). What is really great is to fall in love (spiritually, emotionally, mentally, etc. connected) with your best friend. I did many years ago! Don't worry about defining those feelings, just feel and trust them!

No one. One do not exist the other. They are the people which hope to have a love or friends.
