What are your top 5 Lush products EVER?

Yes, you heard me right, i said EVER. That means including all those disconned items that you mourn the loss of. I want to know, out of all the Lush products you've ever tried, what are/were your most faveourite, for whatever reason. Mine are: 1) Blue Skies bubble bar slice - this is my number 1 Lush product ever. It's about the only Lush product that my bloke also likes, and it does help that this bubble bar is twice the size of most other, bar the Comforter. I love the smell of patchouli, and i love the luxurious bubble this one creates. 2) Big Strawberry bath melt- oh how i miss the divine scent of this lovely strawberry & almond bath melt. I actually discovered this durning one of Lush's infamous dicon round o the UK forum, as i wasn't yet a fan when this was actually disconned. I have a stash of these hidden away for those times when i'm in desperate need of a pick-me-up. They enver fail! 3) Strawberry Boat bio-fresh body scrub - before this was disconned i used to buy a pot every time i went into Lush, which was fairly often at the time as i lived closed to a store. The smell of this was just so heavenly (like Big Strawberry above) and the scrub itself was a perfect consistency, not too harsh, but scrubby enough for a good scrub. It was also so nice and refreshing having it come straight out of the pot. I mourn the loss of this more than Big Strawbery as i didn't get to stock up on this one. 4) Snake Oil scalp massage bar - you might think this an odd choice since it totally stinks, but the fact is it's one of my top 5 becuase it has saved me from the horrors of a sore, itchy, psoriosis ridden scalp. This unassuming product really has worked miracles for me and given me a bareable scalp and for that reason alone i give it 4th place in my list! 5) Wiccy Magic Muscles massage bar - another wonder product like Snake Oil above. This bar is an absolute life saver for any girl who has been shopping for hours on end, worn painful shoes on a night out, been stood on their feet all day, or has otherwise treated their feet badly. It also works wonders on chy backs, and just about achy anywhere! So for services to my poor muscles, i award it 5th place on my list. Right, so that's me, but i'm interested to know what everyone else thinks? Do you agree with me or have i just mentioned your 5 worst Lush products ever?

1. Blue Skies BBS - it was the first thing I ever bought and it started my love for Lush. I adore the smell of patchouli and I remember being amazed at how long the scent stayed in the bathroom the next day. 2. Recon - the minty smell reminds me of candy canes and it does wonders on the psoriasis on my scalp. 3. Karma Kream - I also use it on my face and it cleared the psoriasis away almost immediately. The icky creams I got from the doctor never helped me this good. 4. Sweet Japanese Girl - I was really unsure about it as I have combination skin, but it gives my skin some well needed oil and has removed most of the horrible blackheads I always used to have on my nose. 5. Ocean Salt and Herbalism - I had to cheat and place these two both on number 5 as they've both made my skin so nice and soft.

I also use the Snake Oil bar and I prefer Recon. I think the bar isn't strong enough for my problem and I find it doesn't melt very well. The scent doesn't bother me much, but Recon does smell better :) Recon is very greasy though, so you'd need I Love Juicy for example to really cut through the grease (I put it straight on the dry/reconned hair and scalp, wash it out, then use my regular shampoo puck and conditioner). For me Recon already worked after one go, so it really just depends on how your scalp is.

I find that Snake Oil is easier to apply than Recon, but i think it's becuase i cheat and chop it up into 4 pieces then microwave one piece for a few minutes so that it's completely liquid and use it that way. Recon i found really hard to apply as i've got longish hair and it seemed to just stick to my hair. I find both are a bit hard to remove, i used to use Ibitza Party shampoo to get rid of Snake Oil before it was disconned, now i use I Love Juicy or strangely enough Be Never Shower gel, which works a treat and gets rid of the stink really well too!

Do you prefer Recon to Snake Oil? Have you tried Snake Oil? I got a sample of Recon and treied it but didn't notice much difference, though i think you're supposed to use ot for a week or something to notice a difference. It certainly smells better than snake Oil, should i give it a proper go?

1) Aura Suavis Bubble Bar - This was the most perfect thing when it was 'that time of the month' as it killed my inner monster. I still have a few stashed away. It was a gorgeous minty floral. 2) Blue Skies Bubble Bar - Perfect for daytime baths - it lasts for two or three baths too! 3) Retread Conditioner - This makes even my super dyed hair soft and silky smooth. 4) Waylander Soap - Again, more patchouli - patchouli and dirt. Lovely - best in the summer and spring I found, still have two chucks in my fridge. 5) Celestial Moisturiser - This is perfect on my combination and sensitive skin - one of the only things that feels good on my skin.

With the recent price hike I have been asking myself this a lot....becuase I will be having to limit my LUSH spening to more of the essentials. So, here's what I think they are. 1. Silky Underwear Powder- This is one of the first Lush products I ever bought. Initially I was just excited to see dusting powder since I love it, and not many people make it. But it also smells heavenly, and is perfect for the summer where skin might...um rub. 2. Fresh Farmacy- Even as an adult I still have acne. FF has made it so much better though. This is one product that no matter how much the price goes up, I won't give up. 3. Jungle-I love the way Jungle smells and I love how it conditions my hair. It took a little while for me to master the use of it, but it was worth it. 4. Reincarnate- I love the solid shampoos, and I think this one is my favorite. At first I wasn't down with the scent, but it makes me hair so soft, and shiny....and really, the jungle I use afterward is what you smell. 5. Therapy-I think massage bars are the best product LUSH makes. They are so versitle. I find the cent of therapy, calming and fresh. I think it's a good year round scent too.

Jungle nearly made it on to my list, as it smells so darm yummy and once you get the hang of it is really easy to use and a bar seems to last forever. Perhaps it would havew come 6th on my list!

Here are my favorites.. Ibiza Party Shampoo- I used to get compliments from co-workers on the scent. Antiphilitron- The best clarifying shampoo I have found. This shampoo was perfect for the summer. Coolaulin- I have been in love with this since I first discovered Lush in 1997. Butterball- This has always been a staple. These help me in the winter when my skin gets dry. (Bon bomb was a close favorite too.) Pineapple Grunt- My all-time favorite Lush soap.

I forgot about Ibitza Party. That really was the best Lush shampoo ever! It was also the best shampoo to get Snake Oil out of my hair and leave it smelling yummy. Stupid Lush for getting rid of it!

I really mourn the passing of aura suavis - I know it sounds a bit over dramatic when applied to a bubble bar but the smell of this product holds so many memories for me , I firsr discovered it after having my first son and the smell instantly tranports me to that heady time, I also used it when I was in labour and after the births of my next 2 sons so it holds powerful memories . It also helped to keep me sane when my grandmother passed away so I guess its a profuct with bitter-sweet memories attached top it , but I love it dearly. Chai - shower gel - this had the prefect balance of spices and was warming and comforting I haven't found anythimg that compares to it. Angel- water - a fabulous tiner that really suited my semsitive skin . Icon perfume - this was my signature scent ,although definitly a marmite (a uk yeast extract spread) kind of product (you either loved it or hated it). Forever a bloom - a lightweight condiitoner that really packed a puch , it tamed my fine static prone hair and made it gleam. Arabrian Bright -Fabtastic hair moisturiser and brillaint on my naturally red/ginger hair, again it made it shine with health and bought out the natural colour.

I've nveer heard of Forever a Bloom, must have been a product from way back in the history of Lush. i think Lush needs more conditioners, though i am a huge fan of Vegansese (another contender for my top 5 that just missed out). I have to say i was never that keen on Chai though, mainly because i don't like spicy things.

I think you might mean Seanik, or at least that's what it's called in the UK. It's a solid shampoo bar that's disc shaped and bright blue with salt & seaweed in it. Theres also Jumping Juniper, but that's more pruple than blue, though it is specifically meant for oily/greasy hair. I like Seanik, i've got some Jumping Juniper but i've not used it yet.

1. Lime Smoothie: I love the smell and it has a great consistency. My skin feels so smooth after using it. 2. Champagne Snow Showers: I normally hate the jellies, but this one smells so fabulous I'll make an exception. I was so happy when it won the perfume round. 3. Freeze shower gel: I have chronic sinus issues so showering with this is a lifesaver in the morning. 4. American Cream Conditioner: Not only do I adore the scent, it makes my hair really soft. 5. Coalface: Saved my skin from chronic breakouts.

There are so many great products but I have narrowed it down to these 5: 1)Skinny Dip Shower Gel - not the buttercream because although it has the same great smell, it doesn't work in the same way. The gel was great as a bubblebath or shampoo and brilliant for shaving your legs with. It was really moisturising with the cocoa butter chips in it and the smell was so unique and unisex, with chocolate and violet and cloves, I loved it. I still have 6oog of the stuff from the last discon round where it was remade but I am reluctant to use it as I know it will never be made again. 2)Ultrabland cleanser - it's just so effective, both as a cleanser and a make up remover, nothing else can come close, especially on waterproof mascara! 3)Champagne Snow Showers Forum Special Perfume - utterly delicious and zingy, this orange scented perfume is a lot easier to use than the shower jelly, which is a Christmas product, and also the scent lasts well on the skin. Just thinking about it I had to reach into my make up bag and have a squirt of this lovely product. It makes me feel happy just smelling it. 4)Potion - a deliciously scented tangerine and rose body lotion with a great texture that really moisturises but doesn't leave a greasy film on the skin. The scent smells as much as if you had used a perfume and lasts all day. 5)Veganese conditioner because it's so light but detangles my fine hair perfectly and rinses out really well. The one that almost made the list but not quite was Marathon bubble bar - it really does work to ease the muscles, but I can only have 5 products on the list...

I have to confess that I've never made it into one of the shops, the smell is so overpowering that it makes me gag, and its not that I dislike the idea of any of their producte, its just such a concentration of sythetic scent that I can't go in there without feeling unwell. I have however made bathbombs, soaps and various other potions for years, and people keep telling me that they are just as good or even nicer than Lush, so hopefully I'm doing something right. They are all so very easy to make too, I've never really been sure why people are prepared to pay high prices for things they could make in their own kitchen. So, what I'm trying to say, is that if you mourn the loss of a favoruite Lush product, why not learn to make your own? You might be surprised at how successful your efforts are :)

I did once buy a bath bomb making kit and had a go at making some bath bombs, but the results weren't great! I'm much better at making jewellery and cards, i leaves things like making bath products and candles etc to others! I guess some people are just gifted at certain things, and others are gifted at other things.

1. American Cream conditioner. I absolutely adore the smell of it and it works brilliantly on my hair, I can smell it for the rest of the day! 2. Snow Fairy. Unquestionably the best sweet shower gel there is, plus it's a gorgeous girly pink and has sparkles and smells of calpol. 3. Angels On Bare Skin. Is love. Not too harshly exfoliating and lasts ages. 4. Karma soap. Karma is such a delicious sexy fragrance and always makes me feel fabulous after using it. 5. The Comforter bubble bar slice. Sweet comforting pink goodness.

Ooooh, tough one. Favourite Lush ever has to be Angels on Bare Skin, Skin Drink, Buffy, Snake Oil and Aromaco. Really boring, but all essential everyday items!
