several part time jobs OR a full time job?

Which is better to have? And which one would you rather have? The good thing that I see about part time jobs is that if you happen to work 2 jobs, you get to know more people as compared to being stuck in one job. But then having to drive back and forth I think is a factor that gives a full time job a positive edge since you only have to stay at one location.

Of course a full time job is way better since you have all the benefits and you are prioritized in the company. I am working full time and I used to have a part time job too. I quit because it's a little far from where I lived and I needed to concentrate on my school too.

I prefer both as equal. Today's lifestyle needs practicality. The most important is you are happy and you are earning the amount of money you need.

Part time jobs are good if you are still a student because they are flexible. However, if you want to pursue a good career, you need to consider a full time job.

I prefer having a single full time job rather than having several part time jobs. We get to meet more people when we work at two different places but I would not want to go to different places and work. I would prefer to work at the same place.

I'd go for a full time job cause with that you get to have more job security. True, sometimes with 2 or more part time jobs, you can really earn much but when time comes that they won't be needing you anymore then what's next??? jobless again??? Job Security is really important for me so I'd rather have a full time job. But if there are available part-time jobs which I can work from home, like this one..then I'd go grab it. :)

It really depends upon the individual person...some people are part-times which take up their hobbies in their part times while some of them are full-times continuously devoted to one job..its just matter of time..and how u arrange the time around you...time management is most impostant aspect of your life...some things need to be sorted positively...

it's much better to have a full time job because having many part time jobs will suck your life away from you, drains away all of your energy, pressure you more, adds extra stress on your daily living. with all of these, you probably will see yourself sick one day and missing out the most important thing in your life. that is, having Quality Time with your loved ones. believe me, Quality Time with your loved ones is more important than 2 or more jobs. there is also a saying: "We work to live not live to work." God bless.

Whenever I look at these, one thing keeps popping out of my mind. Part time job is a short-term job contract which can give you at least the minimum or average salary but has somewhat an easygoing schedule. Full time is a long-time job contract where you have benefits, an average or high income, but you spend at least 8 hours a day on the job. I believe that a full time job is much more appropriate if you have met the requirements of the job, such as being a graduate, knowledge in certain skills and etc. Full time jobs offer much more to the employee so I believe this type of job is better to have, since you don't have to worry about how to earn money for a couple of years. I would have part time jobs first if I'm a fresh graduate, then with the job experience earned, I can apply for a full time job and rake in the money.

Doing a full-time job is better than doing fewer part-time jobs. The main reason for this is when you do a full-time job you can do it with more dedication. And also if the employer is happy with you he can have faith in you and give higher responsibilities. But if you are doing a part-time job then you are basically not that much appreciated by the company and so it is very tough to get a promotion or a higher job designation. So if you ask my opinion that I would say to a full-time job it doesn't matter if it does not pay you a lot at the start. Though it with dedication and then you can see that you will get the reward.

I would rather work one full time job rather than two part time especially if its going to pay equally anyway and even better if one full time is more wage too. Two part time almost equal one full time with the hassle of going back and forth, and not having all the benefits included on a full time job. I dont know in the US but companies here certainly wont pay benefits to part timers. I know what you mean about knowing alot of people at the same time but its being practical that time is important and so is the money il earn. Unless two part time job will mean alot more money than full time then why not? As long as, the expenses il make driving from one palce to another wont be taken for granted either.

Full time job is better than part time unless you are having some kind of own business.
