Hi I am new to mylot. Nice to meet you. There is so much on this site and it is easy to get lost. I have read a few posts on mylot and all that and am learning. But can anyone explain to me like the stars, the money earning, and anything else you think I should know! Thank you for your time!!

Welcome to myLot Sarah. I hope you will have many happy hours here. I see you have five points, so evidently you have made some postings, including this discussion.
You get paid for one response and one comment in a discussion. The amount seems to depend on the QUALITY of the response. One or two words, or responses which do not say anything are not favoured.
When you get to 100 points you will receive a star with a number in. This represents your myLot reputation rating. We do not know the formula used to determine this rating, but we do know the number of "+" ratings and the number of "best response" ratings received will increase it.
Make a response to many discussions. Make sure your response applies to the discussion, is intelligent and courteous. Make sure you rate all responses and discussions you read.
Post discussions. Post good discussions, not silly ones like "What colour do you like?" Make sure you read all the responses you receive, comment on some, and rate "+" all those who give a good reply, even if they disagree with you.
Most of all, have fun. Join in on-going discussions and enjoy a friendly debate and/or some humour. You will soon become addicted to myLot. Happy days!
