Where are the readable, respondable discussions?

I've tried for the past hour, in vain, to find a discussion worth responding to -- and I've drawn a big zero. I always check the "no responses" and "new discussions" categories, since a lot of people have already weighed in on the top discussions. Intriguingly, even the "top discussions" category has a lot of weak discussion startups, and I wonder if these writers are simply a popular name and have a large network of friends who routinely read and respond to their posts. If so, that's OK, but there remain the issues of overall substance to these discussions -- and the large group getting zero responses. Looking at the "no response" and "new discussions" groups, there's not much there. Step it up, and start earning some real cash!

I am having trouble finding interesting discussions myself. No wonder my earnings are going down every day, there is just nothing I can say to most of the discussions that are on here. A lot of them just seem to be about the same old stuff or jokes or statements that I don't know how to comment on.
