I started a discussion & now its not there in my list? Ever happened with you?

Hi i had started four strings of dicussion...and today when i chked the link of "discussions that i'hv started"..i was shocked to see that one of the discussion is not there at all...on which people had posted around 8 responses..
Can someone help me unsderstand this.....?

If the discussion is started beyond the
discussion guidelines then it's every
posiibility to get that one deleted.
If it was any kind of to abuse or hurting to
some one then in that case he would report
an abuse to your discussion and the effect
is deletion.
This never happened in my case, as such I start very
few discussions and just prefer responding other's.

Hi..thanks for replying..
the discussion was about a query that i had related to rating and the star that we see above the avatar...
I had asked "how do you get that star & what it means"...since I am new to mylot...& I got around 8 responses but today when i logged in i saw that...the discussion has been deleted...
was the question beoynd the guidelines..?

Mylot deletes discussions if they are against the guidelines. I don't know what your discussion was about to be able to give a better answer than that. YOu can refer to the guidelines at the bottom of the page to see if it was something to do with the content. Hope that helps some. Welcome to mylot and best of luck to you! :)

I had started the discussion related to ratings n star that we see on users avatar...now is that incorrect discussion?

The question isn't against the guidelines, but someone could have reported it as abuse I guess because that question appears many times a day. We are suppose to do a search before starting a new discussion to see if that is already going on. I don't think that mylot would delete it though without someone reporting it as abuse. I could be wrong on that but I don't think so. Sorry again that your discussion got deleted. :( Don't get discouraged, but try the search engine first. :)

Thanks for guiding me...I was not very clear that if the same kind of discussion appears then someone might report it as abuse and the discussion will get deleted. I had just asked out to clarify my doubts...

Hey Thanks hijas007. May be i was new to mylot and at the same time i have signed up on such kind of site which helps you earn money online...for the first time so i din't realise that...Neways thanks for your observation..
