Do you bring your pet, like a dog, with you to church?

I went to chuch yesterday (for Ash Wednesday) and i saw this one old lady who brought with her his little furry dog. (too bad i dont what breed is it.) its slightly bigger than george here in the picture. it was soooo cute. but then i thought, what if the dog started barking and making disturbance in the church? how would the priest react? i wouldnt have any idea of bringing my dog, if i have one, in the church. i wouldnt want to make a noise if it starts barking and catch all the attention of all the people there.

yeah, it would kinda look crazy wouldn't it? sometimes pet owners just love their so much that they bring their pet anywhere they go.

i dont think you should bring a dog or any pet at church, unless its a guide dog, or its "bring your dog to church day". it would be a distraction and maybe even a nuisance to other people.

hahaha! "bring-your-dog-to-church day"! that's a funny one! had there been a day like that in a church?? ^__^;; i've never heard of it from my religious friends. lol right.. it will indeed be a distraction and a nuisance. good thing this dog i saw, was in quiet mood that day. and the owner left before the mass had ended.

I haven't tried bringing my dogs to church... i only bring them with me if i'm going to a family visit somewhere or to the vet.

dogs? you mean you have more than one? how many? yeah, its typical that pet owners would bring their dogs to the park, the vet, or anywhere that's ok to be noisy and that is except the churh. so it kinda really surprised me when i saw a dog inside the church.
