How can I easily find new discussion my friends started in mylot

I find very difficult finding out new disscussions my friends started in mylot. because of something wrong with the internet (the earthquate happened in Taiwan resulted in the breakup of the cable under the sea), I was not in mylot for two months, now I try to find my friends discussion and post my response.It's very funny that I find those discussion are all two or even three months ago on the first page, I try 20th page, it showed disccusions of 5 days ago,I didn't find the new one even I turn to the 24th page,it marked those disccussion of 7 days ago.How funny!How can I do?

I think the easiest thing to do is go to your friends list and turn on the notifications so that you will know when your friends create topics and also respond to your topics. That is how I am able to find my friends topics without going through their profile one by one. They also have the discussions my friends started option on the left hand side for you to find the discussions your friends created.
