It's been more than 3 years since my friend and his bf had knew each other and just this month they had celebrated their 3rd aniv.. she told me that though she feel happy, she must admit that the happiness she felt was not because she's happy to be with him. She had tried to let go of him for a lot of times but everytime she saw him cry and plead for her to never leave him, she just can't..her mind says let go but her heart says stay with him..and now, she really want to let go, but she dont know if she can..

Well they mat have been together for 3 years but it doesn't sound like a very good relationship. You can not stay with a person just because they get upset when you tell them you want out. your friend needs to be strong and tell her boyfriend that it's over and she's just got to walk away. It is not healthy to stay with someone because you feel sorry for them.
