HYIP stands for High Yield Investment Programs but the high yield is only for the admin. They are based on Ponzi scheme: the return to the initial investors is being paid out of the new incoming investment money, not out of profits. The scheme may collapse for 3 reasons: 1) The admin vanish with the money 2) There are no more investment 3) The scheme is stopped by the authority

I agree to what you said.The only person who will be earning is the admin or the owner of the site.Others will just be stupids to invest in such things.I wonder if some body ever got paid by such sites.

They are all scams Look at this http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/820126.aspx Some people will get paid - but it is just them moving the money round for a while. Then they close down.

HYIP is High Yield Investment Programs and moslty they are scam. So be very carefull before making any investments. They offer very attractive rate or return like 1000% or 1500% for a week or month but still you may need to think how it is possible to offer such a huge profit?
