Pictures ? can we rate others

There have been a lot of discussions lately about what we are being paid for adding a picture to out discussions , There is a question I must ask , I was looking at some of my friends pictures on their profiles , ( their personal pictures) I noticed a + , So does this mean we can rate our friends pictures and they will get paid for this , I just wanted to know if it were worth my while going through other peoples pictures and giving them a + as this would also help them make just a little more pocket money , Thank you all in advance for the answers xx

Yes, we can rate others' pictures and I do give the + rating. But whether we earn from there or not, I don't really know but I believe that it does something good to both the one who gives the rating and the one whose picture is being rated. Otherwise, why should still be the ratings placed there? What would those be for?

Heya, I do not know who gets paid for what and I don't realy care, but whenever I see or read something that I like - I plus that photo or dicussion, friends or not. I think it is what its all about - to give a honest opinion. the earnings is a bonus. I just plussed your topic because it interested me enough to comment. Have a nice day!!

I don't know sorry but would be very interested to find out myself as well good point to know whether this is allowed or not. I hope that you can find out as I would like to know this as well, as there are many lovely pictures here on my friends profiles.

i think your asking about the avatar or the othe picture that they load in thier discussion. I think they would earn if you rate their picture. And there is a lot of discussion going on of earning . I dont think you will earn.

I rate other peoples pictures ...I'm not sure but I think it helps them out... I guess I could write to the Mylott people and ask them.... :)

It states that because profile pictures tend to be of a personal nature they won't be compensated.
However, yes you can rate photos that are on your friends profiles but it doesn't look like they won't get paid for it. I don't really know if there are any benefits to rating someones personal photo's, would it alter their rating in a way.
I do rate the odd photo I have seen on my friends profile, if it is a particular picture I like.

I think is hard to say. As a fried i think you must help them ,so ,you must give then a+,but,in other sied ,you could not do like this.

In a discussion I had on photo earnings myLot admin said there is is no payment for uploading photos on the profile page so I don't think anyone gets paid for anything on the profile page. I think it applies only to photos in discussions. xxx

I don't know that it adds to your earning, but I do it. I don't see my pennies adding up much faster. I rate them because I'm a photographer, and in this way I can comment on the photo's I see, and can PM the author for futher info.
