Whats the best way to make your hair spiky?

February 22, 2007 9:41am CST
I have shory hair and try to spike it up every morning but by the end of the day its always flat again. My routine is: mouse, blow-dry, fudge stuff, hairspray. Can anyone reccomend any good techniques or product to keep it spiky all day (or at least for a while)?

Do you have a motorcycle, or a friend who rides one? The car would probably work just as well if you have a wide-opening sunroof. (For safety reasons you shouldn't be driving yourself!) Use any old brand of hair gel, just make sure it's firm-hold stuff and as thick as possible. Soak your hair complaetely and take a ride on a fast road with your head out the sunroof and tipped back a little. Unfortunately, my hair isn't long enough to test this theory for you!

If that's the case, you should use Loreal products, as you're definitely worth it!!

I don't spike my hair right now, but I used to. I used hair glue. It is basically just white glue, and I know people who have used just white glue instead. Your hair will harden up after applying and letting it airdry then voila your hair will not fall down. Got 2b glued was the brand I used.

Here's a tip for you but you may want to experiment first while you have the time. When putting in your fudge stuff put in a squeeze of toothpaste with it as well and rub it all together before teasing through your hair. I do not know what fudge stuff you use but I use a really good product called L'Oreal rework. You have probably seen the advert. Its a Japenese school and everyone looks and dresses the same and the boy and girl get into trouble by being creative with their hair. It is a blue tub and is amazing.

Ye I know the advert you are talking about, I might try that. The stuff I have been using is called fudge matt head. I like the tooth past idea but it might dry my hair out and cause it break, perhaps not dont want to take the risk. I know soap can cause your hair to snap off.

Ummm....well ive never known anyones hair to snap off but i can understand why that might happen. I think you would be alright though. That stuff i told you to use is brilliant.
