Quality and quantity..

I'm new to mylot.com. I joined for several reasons. I enjoy writing and want a venue to practice it. I like to learn, share and discuss ideas with people. Furthermore, I also like the idea that I can earn a little coin while doing the first two things. However, I've noticed that there are a number of discussions on mylot.com that I feel border on silly. Now, before anyone gets mad or offended, I think topics that require only one answer are not real discussion topics. Like today, I have scoured mylot.com for almost 30 minutes and have only answered two discussions because of the quality of topics posted. I see some members posting discussions after discussions with topics that seem to have been taken from a school textbook. In the final end for me, its quality that matters. I'd rather post just a few entries rather than pepper the site with almost senseless discussions. I do not mean to offend anyone, but that is my opinion.
