whats so good about football?

I'm glad America is the home of REAL football. If it's so stupid don't comment on it and watch your little girls prance around and try to kick a ball in a net the size of a house!!!! What talent.

Three things that American Football has that Soccer doesn't. 1. Action with the intention of scoring. Each Down has a purpose. Each down there is a chance that someone might score. In Soccer, you could play for 20 minutes and the whole stadium would know that there's not a chance of scoring. 2. A seperate offense and defense. Specialists. Every man has a role in the strategy, and even if the ball is not coming his way if he doesn't fulfill his role then the play falls through. You can claim that Soccer has this as well, but I sincerily doubt that the amount of x's and o's would compare to the nfl. 3. Tackling. Bone crushing, teeth jaring, flying through the air, tackling. Whither you think this is violence or not, just to see someone plowed under and then for him to get back up and try that play again is inspiring. Watching Emmitt Smith carry three players on his back and flat running over people while he was playing hurt, made me fall in love with the game, and I hate the Cowboys.

How is that worse than soccer? All soccer requires then is speed.... You have obviously never played football and therefore can't understand why it is so fun and so hard. If its so easy, why is it the most competitive sport to break into?

Are you serious?? No skills are required.. Have you ever tried to break a tackle and get an extra 10 yards all the time holding onto a ball while the other team is trying to knock you down?? You need alot of skills, stregnth, talent and football smarts to play the game of football. It is by far my most favorite to watch and play-- Strategy- try to guess the other teams strategy-- know the play and try to have enough stregnth to stop it! There is no better!
