I'm trading stacks online. Though I'm just a newbie but nontheless I earn something from each trade. It's true that it is very risky because you may loose a substantial amount in just one day. Earnings from a transaction could be very rewarding especially if you bought a stock that you know would gap up. I'm buying and selling Philippine equities though I don't want to risk investing a large amount but rather I'm making use of small amounts and still I earn almost 1 fourth or half of my original investment. Stock trading is not for the faint hearted. You should be prepared to cut loss when the stock goes down and you should have a tardet price to sell when it also goes up.

Yes, once youget some profit you can cover it off and not wait till long to make more profits and whenever you occur loss, you should be able tocome outwithout waiting for more loss as patience is the key to success here and you have to be alert all the time as intraday is also very risky

Online trading can be lucrative or a very risky business. Online trading usually involves intra day trades, i.e buy/sell stock say in the morning and square up positions by 3:00pm, this can be very risky and could involve loosing/gaining sizeable amounts on a single day. To be ahead in this game, one has to have sound knowledge of market movements, market trends in general, trends in a particular sector, global trends that affect the market etc and above all armed with current business news one should be able to predict the direction of the market. Only if you can predict the market with a fair degree of accuracy can you make money. This can only happen with a lot of experience on the market. Intra-day trade is not for new investors. New investors should start off on mutual funds and IPOs. Slowly they should graduate to long term investing into specific companies with sound balance sheets and solid growth potential. This way the investor gets an insight into the market dynamics. Once the investor gets a reasonable hold on how the market moves or reacts he/she can graduate to intra-day online trading. For a little more information on how to start investing in stocks look at my response to the following mylot discussion http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/420627.aspx

It Seems that you have too much knowledge on stock markets and also feel that you also invest in stock market isn't it? am i right? do you go for intraday trading or for long term prospectus? i feel considering the risk factor involved in day trading or intraday trading, you might opt for long term tradings isn't it? but, there are many peopel who have mastered stock market and one needs to have enough patience to succeed in this....
