Would you rather be extremely successful professionally and have a tolerable yet unexciting private life, or have an extremely happy private life and only a tolerable uninspiring professional life? Do you secretly hope that professional success will lead to personal happiness?

Personally, I'd rather have a boring career and an extremely happy personal life. I think that even if I had an extremely successful career, if I wasn't happy out of work, I wouldn't be happy AT work. Even if it's been a horrible day at work, if I can go home and be happy there with my family than it makes it all worth while.
