I am verified seller on Ebay and for so many years I was a buyer. I bought 4 items on auction and they sent me all 4 items. 3 were bad and 1 was good. Then I left 3 positive feedback and 1 negative. The seller gave me negtaive feedback saying I was dishonest buyer, so I reported them to Ebay. No I didn't get the money back because to get it I have to return the items but this means I have to pay shipping fee for the return. Ebay said they will take a note on the seller's account. I don't know what happens after.

that's true in your case too. if you have reported to paypal and then to ebay and nothing happened. I guess this means they just won't do anything about it. I heard some people go with their credit card dispute department. If you pay by credit card through paypal, try to contact them and arrange a claim.

No I have not gotten scammed on eBay becuase I know alot of eBay people can scam you easy and that's why I don't use eBay. And to fix that problem you get that user's name then report it to eBay so they can get that user's IP and then you should take him to court or get your money or what ever you want.

How did you pay? If with PayPal you can file a Significantly Not As Described. If they side with you, you must send the item back to him before you get your money back. Make sure you put a tracking number (Delivery Confirmation, or Signature Confirmation if it was over $250) on it.

Did you report it to ebay for being a fake ... or did you open a claim to try and get your money back? They are too different things. Until you say which one you did i can't help you too much. You haven't said how long ago all this happened so it depends on how you paid the seller too what you can do about it. If you paid by Paypal you only have 45 days to open a dispute and if you bank via eBay then it's 60 days. Both companies will investigate into it but it can take a few months for you to get your money back. Remember that you will only get back the money you paid for the item - so you don't get credited for the postage. Depending how you paid you may be slugged with a $20 admin fee for looking into it.
