I just started a discussion about what to do when you're unhappy with your job, but now I have another question. Sometimes work just drags by...what do you do to make it go faster? All responses are greatly appreciated!

Well for me I can say one thing. Make your self busy. If you are busy in anything related to your work you will not notice the normal clock tick. In fact you might think that clock ticks faster - Just make yourself busy. thats it.

That's funny because I asked almost this same question a few weeks ago! This is my advice for you: 1. don't look at the clock but instead estimate what time you think it is 2. Always take your breaks 3. Drink lots of water at work (then youre running to the bathroom, which is like a little mini break) 4. Have friends at work you can talk to, which helps to pass the time.

One of the best things to do when your job is not going as well as you'd want it to go is think about how you would feel if you didn't have that job at all. Would you be able to manage financially? Would you not miss your colleagues (ok not all of them but some of them)? Would you not miss the independence of being able to earn your own money? The other thing to do when your work is dragging by and maybe you're just not busy enough is to start looking for another job or thinking about what sort of job you would rather be doing and plan how you're going to go about getting that ideal job. Then you can start putting your plan into action. At the end of the day, there's an adage which says "the grass is always greener on the other side" - don't always assume that another job will be better. Think of the positives in your current job and the negatives that a new job might offer. Do you get along with your current boss? What if you got a worse boss in your next job? Do you know how to do all of the work that is assigned to in your current job? Would you want to go through that whole learning curve again when starting a new job? Just some things to think about, hope this is of some help to you :)

U know almost everyone would think the others' job are better than mine, in China, there is a saying "Eatting the food in your bowl, looking at the food in the other one's", it means people usually prefer to trust others are better, but in fact yours is as good as others. I consider that no job is easy to get well pay, you exerting yourself more, you get more achievement. Do not complain your job and don't think it's dragging, try your best and you will win the job.
