Teachers, do you have a favorite student, or one you don't like?

I work with a lady that does not like one of her toddlers. His name is Tamarcus. I love Tamarcus! He would be my favorite kid in the daycare. I first met him when he was 3 months old, and fell totally in love with him. He was a crack baby, but so sweet. Now he is a year old and tears up a classroom. Tamarcus leaves a trail of distruction wherever he goes. His teacher hates feeding him, he makes a mess. She hates changing him, he doesn't lay still and has to have his hand on the family jewels. She hates letting him play, he pulls everything off the shelves. Most times when I go to her room, Tamarcus is sitting in the highchair crying, or screaming to be let out. Now I know Tamarcus is a handful, but he's only a year old. I want to tell this teacher, who is older than me (and southern southern coutesy dictates that I keep my mouth shut), that I do not like seeing him locked up when he should be allowed to play. I know she hates cleaning up after him, and he is a busy child, but really, does he need to be put up like that? Any advise on what I should say would be appreciated.

we are all human beings first, teachers second. It is impossible for a teacher not to have favourites just as it is impossible for a teacher not to dislike some students. We all do it, its part of life, blessed be
