supposedly, mice like peanut butter....although I don't know that for sure, first hand. I would suggest hanging up the shirts on clothes hangers or placing them in an enclosed drawer that is safe from critters. good luck.

You will have to place some baits around which will kill the rat immediately if it eats. Since they can't resist the smell of fish, I add some fish meat and sauce to a handful of rice and mix it with a little zinc phosphate. Get some zinc phosphate or racumin from the farm supply stores. Ask for instructions for effective use of the product and start poisoning those rats immediately. I used to suffer same predicament as yours, now I do something to be rid of them all immediately. Poison them. They cause so much trouble and they get even to the most expensive items, and those we treasure, we have.

OMG I would be in such a state if that happened to me, I hate mice and rats, I have an article going into our local paper next week in response to a lady who said all stray cats should be gotten rid of, as I said in my reply that the cats are the only things that can out smart these things today, I feel the rats and mice are now ammuned to the poisons and are too clever for traps.. oh I feel so much for you...

YOu need a cat or a rat terrier dog. Barring that use peanut butter on those traps, that is something they used in the movie Ben. Also if there is no pets and you teach your kids how bad it is then use some poisons. Then you need to find out where they are coming in and block that. They are amazing critters and smart so you need to out smart them. Good luck!!
