Well, I was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. While I don;t have any memories of Canada from my youth (I moved to Hawaii shortly after my birth), my visits there have rewarded me with kind and open arms. It seems to me that Canadians love Americans - it's like their big sister. Or perhaps, it is kind of a love-hate relationship, as Americans tend to ridicule Canadians, and Canadians still seem to emulate Americans. Take sports, for example : American football heavily dominates world viewing, and Canadians compromise some of that percentage. Yet I do know that there are Candian leagues out there (shout out to ricki williams), but they do not get the same prestige and fame as the American counterpart. And I have witnessed first hand many Candians who actually prefer to watch the "real" American version. Canada, to many US citizens, is like a mini-me. It's a country we love, and a country we love to make fun of because of our gregarious relationship. Go Canada, you cute little canucks, you! ;)

I like in rochester ny, so about 90 miles from niagara falls. I've been to Canada many times. I dont think theyre really different than Americans, usually I wouldnt be able to tell I was in canada vs the US. Maybe if I had to choose, I'd say they were usually pretty friendly :)
