Does marrying an ex-priest guarantee a much better married life?

or it is no better than marrying and ex-con. One of a popular young actor here is a son of an ex-priest who left the priesthood to have a family. He was a good husband and a wonderful father to his children. What do you think?

I think it all depends on the person. If he is a good man (whether he be an ex priest or not)then he will be a good husband. An ex priest could also be a lousy husband if he didn't know the proper way to act. It doesn't matter what profession you are or were as long as you are a good person and good to your spouse.

I agree. It's really the character of the person that matters most. Though many people tend to think that because he used to be a man of God, he is very likely to be a good material for a good husband although there could be no real guarantee. There are cases where some priests are accused of child molesting too. So it really depents on the person, as you said. Thanks.

Nope. Marriage does not depend only on one person. It takes two to tango.
