How far are you willing to go to help others out? In situations where a person is in need of help or assistance are you the type that goes to the rescue first thing, or are you the type that would look and hope someone gets to that person quickly to offer them assistance? Or are you the type that would look from afar and not do anything at all? Honest answers guys.. I would probably be the look and hope someone helps that person out, because I am afraid of getting involved, I would love to be of help to other people but I kinda want to be sure that my help is wanted... so I'm not the rush to help first thing type..

You mean you always wished but you never was? Is that it?

I try and help where I can, once upon a time I would have waited for someone else to jump in but today I have been there to help when needed...

If I felt there is something I can do within my power to help someone then I would. I guess it's the way I was brought up, being helpful is like a natural instinct to me. There are times when there is nothing you can do to help another, sometimes you just don't have the answers, solution or resources to to anything. So on the base line, yes I would stop and help another person in need, provided I can be of help.
