I have many friends, more than 200. But, who is my real friend ? I think,a real friend stands allways with my side? Does he like my qualities? can he like my disqualities? can he support me at any situation?

I think its very simple to identify a real friend...coz the first thing a rue and real friend will do is that He/She will accept you the way you are...Will not try to change you...Also..if you are wrong he/she will not comment on it... but give you a feedback (feedback is never +ve nor -ve) on your behaviour..Yes he will be there when you NEED him the most..he wont judge you based on social or financial status that you hv... At the end I think a true friend always remains transparent and will NEVER TRY TO PLEASE you...

Real friends will accept each other. Being there for each other although being there does not mean that you have actually be there.Share sadness or happiness.Support you.Guide you through life.I have some real friends that i can count on.Although they are married and live far away from me,but at my toughest moment,i know i always have someone to turn to.

Someone told me once... "A true friend can see right through you and still enjoy the view." Perhaps that means a true friend can separate the person from the behavior which is difficult to do at some point in time. Or maybe it means that no matter what you do, they will be with you through thick and thin? I don't know what makes a real friend, but I'm happy to know that I have friends that will bail me out of jail and true friends who will be right beside me in the jail cell saying, "Darn, that was a stupid thing to do but it sure was fun!"
