my son wont eat =(

my son is turning 2 this june..stil he doesnt want to eat solid. he will eat just a small amout like one pc of rice and a pc of biscuit but unlike my eldest who started eating solid and a huge amount of food at the age of 1. pls advise me if this is normal. thanks!

Do not worry too much.Transition between milk to solid food may become a problem for certain child.Be patient.Do not force them.Forcing your child will just make things worse.Let him enjoy the food.Give him time.Do not compare him with the eldest.Avoid giving him snacks and junk foods.Maybe if you are worried that he won't get enough vitamins and minerals that support his growth, go and buy vitamin especially with lysine.Or may be you can go to www.babycenter.com/comments/toddler/toddlerfeeding/1252767?i=160

Often children do have difficulty with the transistion between milk and solid food.
I found with my eldest she was fine with finger foods but not with mushed up stuff. In the end I had to mix her milk with all the food I gave to her and not let her have a bottle until she had eaten her solid foods.
