Your first thought...

The Thinker - Bronze sculpture "The Thinker", by French artist Auguste Rodin in 1880, one of Rodin’s most famous sculptures because it captures the human struggle to understand.

What was your first thought this morning when you woke up? I have to admit the first thing I thought of this morning was I wondered how the movie ended last night, I feel asleep 15 minutes into it! Matthew 3:8 "Do those things that prove you have turned to God and have changed the way you think and act."

LOL you sound like my mother and sisters, they all need coffee sometimes I think before they take a breath. I have never liked coffee but can't function without my Diet Pepsi - keep some next to my bed so can have a drink before I get out of bed.

That is a wonderful tradition. I'm afraid us Americans have a bad habit of forgetting how important family is and many of the traditions.

My first thought when I wake up yesterday lol!!(it was almost 1am here in our country still awake) was WHERE WAS MY 3 year old son a bit panicked with some books on law sorrounded around me because I fell asleep as I reviewed for my constitutional subject on my law course. I felt releived when someone answers here mommy!! I really get scared when I woke up and my son was not with me on the bed but mom wakes up early so there is really nothing to worry but I didn't know why I always worry huh! signs of getting old lol!!!

Well, I'm a mother, student, and addicted to mylot (plus soul support of my son and myself) but the difference is - mine is 15, when they are 3 they need a whole lot more of Mom time.

Oh I know the panic, not old dear just "Mommy". I had my first when I was nearly 21 and one night I woke and couldn't hear him breathing in the crib next to my bed. I actually woke him up just so I was sure he was OK. I must commend you - a 3 year old and law courses you have your hands full.

OK, you are going to laugh at this but my first thought upon waking. I need to wash clothes. lol. My hamper is full, and I guess I noticed it last night before I went to bed so this morning I got up and went in and put some clothes in the washer to wash. Then I made some coffee. When you find out how the movie ended let me know. First I guess I should ask what movie it was?? lol

I'm so sorry to hear your sick. It's not fun working to begin with but to have to go when you are sick is even worse. I'm blessed now to work from home so when I was sick with pnominia for 3 weeks I could still at least do a little work - between naps. Praying you feel better soon.

Hi Faith, I looked at your web site. It was an inspiration to me. I am in the process of building a website. You have given me some ideas. I too, am wanting to build an internet business. I am very new at this and could use some help. I have signed on with a website company out of CA. With their company I have a website, 10 emails, webhosting and a home business with them for $10 a month. I am going to use the website to build my ministry/website business. With affiliates I will put on there, I will have 2 or 3 business going at once. The company,(Global Domains International), is multi level. I have 15 signed on as of now. I think it has potential, but my number one desire is to have a website where women especially can come and be encouraged and inspired. I don't have it up yet, but I am working on it. I was having difficulty for about 2 weeks because I had a bad html. But now I am back putting it together. I might be interested in some of your links. I have a number of affiliated you might be interested in as well. Bless you, as you endeavor to serve Him. Innercity51 PS. If you want to look at the business it is www.website.ws/innercity51

I'm glad you enjoyed my site and it was a little help. I do need to do some work on it - can't believe it's time to put up an Easter message and I still have the Christmas one up. My site is hosted by a company out of CA also, a wonderful Christian business called Truepath.com they are great to work with. I've never heard of your business but will check into it. I am guessing your first thought this morning was.....

This is a very good question and forced me to think about something that I had not wanted to think about. The last few days, I have been online way too much. I have been to tired to read my scriptures when I go to bed. This is so totally wrong and I know it but still I was online late again last night. When I awoke this morning, I wondered if I made enough money to purchase my husbands birthday present yet. I have been working really hard on mylot and gather to purchase my husband a new tool for his woodworking and I have been neglecting the very thing that is most important to me. I will not make that mistake tonight. I will be more in control and do what it right. Thank you for forcing me to acnowldege this fact.

My first thought was about 3 am when my dogs were going off at something in the woods. We live in the country so it could have been just about anythign and they did not like whatever it was. My girls are not big barkers, only when there is something real to bark about so I was concerned and uneasy trying to figure out what it was. I said a quick prayer and stepped outside to see what it was but I wasnt going into the woods to find out. I am thinking it was a mountain cat, I hard some rustling in the bushes but it finally went away. Not a very good first thought but it sure got me up and moving this morning !

Oh my goodness, no wonder you can't type/spell this morning. But you can't use the excuse of not having coffee yet if you were up at 3 I'm sure you've gone through a pot by now. That is good though that your dogs warn you. I live right downtown Spring Arbor (very small town) but I have deer come through the swamp to my back yard alot, also have raccoons including a huge one that has taken up residence in my garage.

Good morning dear - I want a puppy :( not to wake me in the mornings but I do miss having a dog around, afraid I can't have one in this house without paying extra $200 deposit and I won't have one outside we don't have a fenced yard and I don't like tieing dogs out. I'm sorry to hear about your tooth, will pray that it feels better soon.

My first thought when I woke up was..."why did I sit up until 3 a.m. on myLot?" because now I am so wiped out. Oooooh you nailed me with that scripture. By the way, what movie had you up so late. I'm usually the opposite. I always fall asleep around the last 15 minutes or so of a movie. I've been seeing you around a lot in here and would love to include you in my small circle of friends. Thanks.

LOL - I have done that a lot also. To be honest I can't even remember the name of the movie, it was on Hallmark channel and I'd never seen it before, I was frustrated because I wish they wouldn't do that, how dare they show a movie at 11 p.m. that I hadn't seen :( I look forward to our friendship, I think I'm around alot for a couple of reasons: I set all of my friends so I get notified when they post a discussion and I respond ASAP, this is usually fairly simple as I approve friends only after I've seen if they post discussions I would be interested in and if they respond to discussions similar to what I might post.

My first thought when I wake up is: "I want to sleep a little bit more!". In the weekends it's not exactly like that because I've more time...so I think: "It was so nice to sleep, I really needed! This week was tough" =)

I have done that so many times. It never seems that i fall asleep during shows that I do not really like, just shows I am really interested in. Why is that? I do not get to know how things turned out in the show. Once a show is in=ver it is over and you can not find out what happened in the end.

That's one of the reasons I normally like to watch movies I've seen before or that I have on video because I tend to fall asleep even in the greatest of movies. My personal opinion of why this happens is in watching the TV (something interesting) it takes my mind off all the problems of the day and I actually relax - and fall asleep.

My first thought this morning was the same thought I had last nite before I slept - reminding myself about my doctor's appointment for my quarterly depo-provera jab. I have not been feeling so well so I was glad that it coincided with my doc's appointment so I could tell her about all the symptoms I've been experiencing lately. Hope I will be better in a few days.

Your husband must be in the service. If you don't mind I would like to add him to my prayer list - I have several other service men and women I pray for regularly. My #2 son has served 8 years in USAF been deployed 4 times I know those thoughts very much. Praising the Lord he has been promoted and will stay state side the remainder of his time in service.
