Do you prefer arranged or love marriage ?

Though number of arranged marriage is higher than love marriage in my society ,the current trend is in favour of love marriage . By love marriage I (we)mean a marriage where the bride and groom choose to come to a wed lock after being in love for a certain period . I married 10 years back and I did not have any steady relation with anyone . So , I had to go by the choice of my parents at the first place . However , my opinion prevailed . In this type of marriage though the bride and the groom put forward their opinion , the other important decisions are taken by the families . This is an arranged ( by families) marraige . Which one is better is a burning question in my society . Is it so in your society too ? If you have to cast your vote , which type will be your choice ?
