Have you got like a Wacky's Warehouse near you Meg as you could take her to that or how about a Zoo or a Theme Park where they cater for small Children. But I think you would be better of with the Zoo and a Picnic if it is nice Weather.

hiya gabs! no the nearest theme park to me is new brighton or southport and the nearest wacky warehouse to me is at least 3 buses away from where i live! i live just near my town sooo there's not much what goes on around area not to mention that i live in a bad area and people have vandalised the parks and stuff! i suppose i will have to stay at home then and make a little tea party for her, it should be fun..hehe! thanks alot for responding anyway and sharing some ideas with me, + :)

I know this might sound boring to some people but when my daughter was really little like that we'd have a party for her with just some family and a few close friends. We'd decorate the house a little bit, have a cake and all the kids would play together for the rest of the party. She always seemed to like that and was happy to share the new toys she got as birthday presents.

She is still a baby. Why don't you have a quiet birthday party at home with a few friends and family. You could get decorations that she likes, maybe Dora or whatever it is that 2 year olds like these days. A small cake and I think she will enjoy that. Take lots of pics! Have fun and Happy Birthday to your Daughter!

Wow! She is going to be two huh! That is a very special birthday. I am a mother of four and a stepmom of two children that I love like my own. My husband and I have seen alot of second birthdays! Seeing that you have a daughter, and all little girls are princesses, buy her an inexpensive Disney dress. They have them at Walmart, Target, and almost any toystore. You let her wear that dress for the entire day. Fill the day with things that make her happy! Fill her room (or any room) with helium filled balloons and streamers! Let her have noise makers and confettii! Add things that will excite her, but be careful not to scare her. She may be too young for clowns and people in costumes. However, she may get a kick out of the idea of you dressing up with her (but I wouldn't suggest you leave the house dressed up). Well, that's one of the things we did with our daughters. Good luck to you and have fun at whatever you choose to do!

hey there wow what a great idea, sounds like you had a brilliant time, oh no boy would i leave the house in a costume haha! and yep i don't think i want to take her near clowns as she does get scared of me sometimes because i admit i do scare her just playing but oops she starts crying..hehe.. i stopped doing that tho as i felt mean and horrible anyway im definetly going to do what your ideas suggested even if i don't do it on her birthday i could do it on another special ocassion day! thank you :) +

first of all please accept "Many Happy Returns of the Day" for your baby from one of the mylot viewers. really this is very exiting day for parents. my opinion is that please provide her most fav. cake, choklate, icecream, purchase new dress for her, invite her best friends at your home, went out to your baby like zoo, park, cinema, circus but do not think how you much spent for your sweet daughter.

first of all please accept from all the viewers of mylot "Many Happy Returns of the day" to your baby girl. really it is exciting to celebrate baby's birthday. my opinion is that please provide her what she wishes like her fav. cake, cloths, doll, shoe, icecream, biscuit, choklate, call her best friends at your home and your relative, try to went out outside like circus, movie, park. for this purpose at least you should not think that how much you have spent on such a special day for your sweet baby daughter. thanks.

well I would rather suggest you to go for a simple one... that can be done in the house too.... a 2 yr child is "well matured" to have a look on the toons and goodies...and that is what my crux is.... you can get her toons.... you can even hire a live toon.(if that isnt too expensive uin your country), make a toony cake and get her some goodies.make it her giggle day....and dont even think to invite nayone else..... i few special days should be personalised within the family.make it to you only........ and your family.... but dont forget to give her a tender hug and a kiss on cheek on her birthday from my side..... May God Bless Her!!!

Happy Happy Birthday Baby - Hope it is the best!
well if the weather is nice maybe a picnic lunch and cake out and about in nature and then play on the swings and stuff. I know the park where I use to live had ducks and we took bread with us and fed them. Happy B-Day to the lil one

Its so nice to know that you is going to be 2 soon, Its really good and excited moment for mothers to experience that. SO congratulation to you. I wish i have a daughter. FRiend, i know children are very fond to celebrate their birthday with their little friends. Just call her best friends and children of her age and celebrate the brithday, take them on drive, iam sure it will be more enjoyable and your daughter will be happy.

Here where I live, there's a really cute store for kids called build a bear. If you have it near you, you should take your daughter to it. They let you pick out an animal and you get to stuff it and dress it up with clothing and accessories. It's a fun place for kids. I've made one for a couple of friends for their birthdays. If you don't have anything like that, you should just have a party for her with friends and relatives and kids her age. Or take her to a fun kid's place that has games and rides.

my daughter just turned 4 last february 3 and the first thing we did was go to church and offer thanksgiving prayer for another year added.since she had classes,we celebrated it in their classroom.i just made some cupcakes, put some whipped cream and sprinkles and topped with a barbie ring and for the little boys, iput spidey on it..then just chicken and spaghetti.i made some mini loot bags as well.at home we just made here blow 4 little candles on her 4 cupcakes. maybe for your kid,you could do a mini treasure hunt where you can hide different stuff around the house and just guide your kid in looking for her treasures or you can make her a little crown, makes 2 minicakes and dress her up like a little princess and have your friends daughter come over your house and make a tea party for your toddlers.you can make them wear their pj's, put a little bed on your den and give them something to do,activities like painting and coloring, and buy some cheap toys for them to pick a prize.make some lootbags, kids love lootbags.
