I think mine would have to be Edithburgh on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. In fact it is a small town rather than a city and is mainly a tourist place but we can enjoy fishing there. We only go out of the busy times though as we do not like the crowds in the holiday times. :)

Yes they do actually. I believe there is some sort of special seahorse that lives in that area and so often there are divers/snorkellers near the jetty looking for these things.

The 3 days of kayaking is excellent. More than excellent i daresay. It all started off with me staying over at NSRCC. It is located at a place no one knew, and it is pathetic, you cant get there by foot, literally, the foot path just cut you off without reason and there you are stranded with a deadend, and a few light years away from the nearest bus stop that houses the weirdest bus number you have ever heard or seen of. I woke up punctually at 715am and started my walking journey to the nearest bus stop. A good 5km or more away from NSRCC. It rained cats and dogs the previous night and all the walkway is now a pond with fallen leaves and fast hatching tadpoles that toads laid in the night. I clinched on to my rain coat and fought the strong wing that almost blew me to neverland. Thanks to my napfa, i have enough training for standing broad jump till not a single puddle can stop me, sometimes i just missed it completely, and guessed killed a few tadpoles, toads-to-be. It was totally eerie, tall trees lined up both sides as if you are walking to ellinia, a place in maplestory. You can't see the sun, but you know it is up somewhere, behind those big leaves. Best of all, the sound of the Boeing 747, Airbus 330 airplanes taking off at an amaing speed, heading for a place across the pacific, and yeah not forgetting those budget airlines that almost killed SIA, or other airliners. The moment i reached the main road, cars and trucks are zooming at atrocious speed, cause there will not be a single person around at this time of the day, except for me. Saw a billion taxis and i knew if i got lost, it will be totally fine. I tried to hitch a ride but i know the moment i raise my hand out, it would either be smashed by the 6 tonnes truck or be ignored totally. Or maybe those yellow-tops, and comfort will wanna stop, hopping i wanna go to jurong, so they can earn the extra buck. too bad, my aim is only tanah merah. The walking part was pretty boring, except for the frequents jumps i made across those puddles and those beautiful jet planes they flew over my head, one day i will be there, in the cockpit looking down at some pathetic boy walking at 1km/h, while i fly at 1000km/h. hahahaha, one day. oops, no more road ahead, just knew it, i cant possibly survive the expressway without a road kill. i decided to boost the economy a bit and took the taxi, screw it, it is the peak hour, 5 bucks to tanah merah. Took bus 2 to changi village, saw changi prison, saw army camps and stuff, freaking long bus journey. The moment i was there, i headed for the food centre and ate some noodles, goodness! i seldom eat noodles and i am doing it now! i ordered from this aunt whom i have never met before but will meet for 2 more days. haha The rest arrived and we made our way to changi sea sport club. Our class consists of 5 njc students, that is us, 8 pioneer sec npcc cadets, 1 hcjc j1 girl, and this p6 girl! goodness! so young! Our instructor is ai chin, from obs. we used a dancer, damn small, cant squeeze the legs in. headed for the sea, and did some basic rowing. Lunch was nasi lemak. Changi village consists of many nasi lemak stalls, one is always full of people, some are just substitute if people are too lazy for the good one. Actually all tasted the same. just the prices may be different. We sat close to the noodles store again, and again i met that aunt, haha. We went back for more action, and we learnt new skills, recapped those that we forgot. Oh, and i was using a right hander paddle, couldn't really get used to it, but by the end of the day, i was more or less alright with it. The day ended of with more food at the food centre, and the noodles stall is closed, omg, their business is so good! In the second day, we had a mini expedition to pasir ris park. 12km to and fro. It was crazy man, my kayak was filled with water and cant control my direction, it was horrible, it was like the last to reach pasir ris. Cause during the journey, me, tin ho and ziwei kept on playing. haha. we tried to capsize each other. Fun but the aftermath was tiring. and yay, i learnt a new method of emptying water from my kayak. damn effective and good. The journey back was even more fun-filled. It was raining and we gotta kayak through the rain. Damn fun, choppy sea plus a imminent storm makes this trip back a bonus. It was so much faster back cause we increased our speed and my kayak was not that submerged. our second day ended with nasi lemak again. haha, if i were to live at changi village, i will surely grow fat in 1 week. thank god it is only three days. for the 3rd day, in the morning i had noodles again from the same stall, have been eating it for 3 breakfasts. haha, for the 3rd day we did more of skill and technique and we did the favourite eskimo-bow rescue, i even did an impromptu one, and tin ho saved my life. haha lunch was again nasi lemak, and goodness! the aunt from the noodles store said (translated to english), i have been seeing you for 3 days, what you here for. i said kayaking and she said, oh, you want to order noodles is it, we are closing, sorrie, some other day then. i told her the next time i be here will be next year. haha and the aunt said natalie eats a lot. haha. so funny. go ask nat about it. haha. no offence here btw, just quoting what the aunty said. haha, or what nat told us. we went back to sea and did nothing much, sadly. we ended at around 3plus and headed for the club. watched a video that was so long and was boring from the middle to the end. goodness. and we were given our certs, ziwei received his too, haha. the 2 star kayaking course ended just like that. too short. cant wait for 3 stars. and one day i will conquer the sea, the land and my favourite the sky.
