Business investment rose sharply in the UK towards the end of 2006, official figures show, suggesting boardroom confidence about economic prospects. Fourth quarter expenditure rose 3.3% on a quarterly basis, according to the Office for National Statistics, and was up 11.1% on the same period a year ago. Some experts have expressed concern that rising interest rates might depress capital expenditure by firms. But the Bank of England expects the rate of investment to beat GDP growth.are you agree in this investiments? will they used that money in other things?
