Favorite Metal Bands .

I listen to many different kinds of music, but my favorite and most listened to is Metal, of various kinds, mostly Speed, Death, and Thrash. Right now I'm trying to find out more about German and Eastern European metal bands, so if anyone out there knows of good bands like this, that I don't already list below, please speak up! Here are some of my favorite Metal bands now, in no particular order, this is a mix of old and new: Kreator Slayer Coroner Atheist Sepeltura Vader Ministry (if they can be considered metal) Suicidal Tendencies Diamond Head Motorhead Flotsam and Jetsam Others that I like: Pantera Old Metallica Old Megadeth Anthrax, old and new Some that I haven't heard a lot from yet, but have downloaded a few songs and seem to like: Destruction Sodom Marduk I'd have to say that my all time favorite Metal album is probably Kreator: Endless Pain. I like the technical stuff, like Atheist and Coroner, but also just the senselessly fast stuff like Kreator. I don't care too much for bad screaming, like Napalm Death, nor for bands like Exodus, which is okay, but just not exactly what I like, and though band like Celtic Frost are good, eh., just not my cup of tea. I like Slayer, but they aren't my favorite, probably Kreator is. I like some musical skill, not just thrashing about, and to me Kreator is just by far the best, combining both mega speed and brutality, good lyrics, and and good degree of variety and skill in the song composition, though admittedly not the most technical by far, still much better than many of the bands that just kind of drone on. Coroner and Atheist are awesome, I'm sad that neither one are still together, and I think that some of Coroners later albums, Mental Vortex and Grin are masterpieces, but I don't know of any bands like these today. Atheist, IMO, are just in a league of their own. I really like Vader too, I listen to them a lot lately, and they have plenty of material to choose from.
