Eyeball falling out...!!

Yes.. a friend of mine was working in her office when all of a sudden her eyeball poopped out of the socket and fell on her desk.. she was immediately taken to a hospital with her eyeball and was operated. she is fine now but has to wear glasses. Have you also heard of such a thing happening.. waht is the reason behind such an incident..??
