The desktop is what I prefer to use over the laptop. The desktop can have as large a screen as I want, it can be upgraded anytime, add appropriate gadgets I may desire, it is faster and easier to work on considering that the keyboard is not attached to the CPU nor the monitor.

I use a desktop. They are cheaper for the power. To the guy who thinks they will be non-existent, not all will. Mine will still be around. I know; I've got three computers. Two of which are 9 or 10 years old. Unless I come into more money, I won't have a laptop without a dire need for it.

I love my labtop verses my desktop. You can get a cordless mouse and keyboard I have one. I like being able to move around or work on the patio. Those things I can't do with my desk top. Also late at night I lay in bed just typing away. I have had it for the last three months and would not give it up.

I have a desktop to play games and other heavy duty stuff but i also have a laptop which i use ocasionaly for light internet browsing etc.. a laptop can be handy for its portability but inexpensive laptops can usually not handle heavy applications all too well.
