Freelance Work for Europeans / myLot

Does anyone know of sites where we could find reliable compnies hiring freelance workers in Europe? Translators, writers, proofreading jobs and so on. It would be great if it could be done via Internet so that we would not need to live near the company. Any ideas? Thanks for help.

i wish i did know of some hun. i did run into alot of people from europe in pogo.com. they are a firendly bunch of people in there too. i dont know if you have them there but the us we go to yahoo groups and put in freecycle and then the city we are in and it comes up with yahoo groups where people post things they are giving away or things they need. they also ask about things like that and we get alot of people that hire people from there.

Thanks, seems to be a couple of good ideas - have to check if we have somtehing similar here.
