PS3 sales doing bad

Since the play station 3 seems to be scaring away shoppers with its 600 dollar price tag, Sony is deciding to give out freebies to people who decide to purchase one. They are giving out things such as free movies, and a free download of Gran Turismo for the PS3. The Nintendo Wii came out around the same time that the PS3 has and has done better in sales off their 250 dollar product. I personally cannot see myself buying a PS3 anytime soon as they do not have very many interesting games out there for them. It's especially not worth 600 dollars to me (no game console would be) and I would rather buy it somewhere after it had gone down in price or off someone else. Would you or have you spent so much on a console? Which have you found to be better out of the two?
