Dana Point Harbor

My husband and I have a small boat in Dana Point Harbor. I would like to hear from any of my "neighbors" in the harbor who have opinions about the harbor and the construction plans for it.
I am active in a couple of groups, one devoted to the harbor departments plans and one devoted to the interests of boat owners in general. I would like to talk to people about their boats and their activities in the harbor and Southern California boating and fishing in general.

I've never been to the west coast. IF I ever do will you take me to this place? Must be nice for you to ask about it.

I would love to show you my "home away from home". The Dana Point Festival of Whales is being held over the next couple of weekends, celebrating the beginning of the whale migration past this section of the California coast. I am hoping to see some whales this year, but we usually get to see dolphins or seals or something.
I will have to post some pics on flickr. I have some great shots of another event - The Tall Ships Festival - they hold there in September. Tall masted period sailing ships at sunset in a cannon battle - really cool! Gotta beat those out of DH! He takes pics and hides them in his computer.

No not much snow just lots of YUCK
OOOHH I want to see dolphins and whales!!!! I've never seen anything off the Jersey shore.
Let me know when you get those pictures up!
