straw OR no straw ?

I try to drink with a straw, but don't usually do it unless I'm out. I bought straws for my drinks at home, but I usually forget to use them.

right now, with straw, and i like the ones that i could twist and turn... aheheh

i prefer using straw as sometimes i dont find the bottles or glasses too clean....also using a straw while drinking is quite comfortable as per my thinking!

it depends. if the cup i'm using is from our home, i usually drink without a straw. if it's from a restaurant or a public place, i drink with straw. but there are times that even if you ask for a straw and that they say that they don't have straws i have no choice but to sip the cup. fact: straws make you burp more than if you don't use a straw when you drink.

This depends on what is in the glass. If it is water no I do not use a straw. Some alcholic drinks I do not care for a straw either. Now if it is a soda pop drink (fountain drink) yes a straw is used almost every time because I do not like the bubbles bursting in my face as I take a drink, the sticky soda does not sit well on me.Hot drinks again I could use a straw if it has a topping like heavy cream, chocolate sprinkles, or caramel etc... as I like to save this for later.

Nowadays I drink with no straw. However, when I was a kid, I used to love drinking straws, and my Grandparents had two special straws they'd keep at their home for me for when I went to stay during the holidays: There was a pink Mickey-Mouse straw (a re-usable straight straw with Mickey's head about half-way up which would fill up with the drink when used!), and a curly straw which was madly twisty and curly! They also had a soda stream, so I used to make my own fizzy drinks in that, then drink them with one of my straws. It was a bit of a ritual, and lots of fun!

I drink with straw when having a date. But usually i will drink without straw, i just feel uncomfortable with it. Without straw i can finish my drinks with just one shot especially when i really thirsty :)

It just depends on where i am at when it comes to if i use a straw or not. If i am at home then i don't use a straw. But if i go out to dinner then i normally do use a straw. I don't want to end up wearing my drink or anything, so i guess i play it safe. lol.

I always like to use a straw, especially if I'm at a restaurant. It's less messy for me. The only time I don't use a straw is if I'm drinking something hot like hot chocolate.

well, before i never use to use straw, but now because i m having sensitive tooth, i prefer straw. i can manage to drink it with a straw, without getting the thing touch my teeth.

The only time I use a straw is if I'm drinking something thick like a milkshake, other then that nope no need for one!

Well i do sometimesw use straw but mosts of the times i don't use it.

i seem to only use straws when im with you or out...never really at home. but i remember when i was lttle i never drank anything if it wasnt through a straw, i would cry until i got one. woah i was a brat. no but i remember thinkin git is so wrong not to hav one. i think its because i didnt like wetness around my mouth alot. strange seeing as your mouth is always wet. straws are cool...sort of pointless though if you really think about it. ok sorry im rambling...i'll stop now...sorry for those who i bored

I drink with a straw. I guess straw makes drinking easier. I mean you need not exert a lot of effort lifting the glass from the table when you use straw.

Depends on what im drinking. A big cup gets a straw. Soda gets a straw. Small cups dont hehehe. Odd but i never really thought of that.
