Did u ever helped a person who is in need..or have u ever sponcered a poor child its hardly goin to cost u around $25 for a child.. we spend lot of money on lot of other things for our pleasures..but try this once if then u get the real satisfaction and the gratitude.. if u r interested do pl let me know..

I believe it is our duty to give. But I do not feel guilty about spending money on myself. I could never understand why people were raised to feel guilty about luxuries for themselves - the poor will always be with us. I give food and clothes, employment and support charities like the Big Issue and the Cancer Association.

I give at Church. Our offerings go to the poor of our community and those of our congregation as well as those organizations that our church believes will use them worthwhile. Even if that is only a few cents or a $1.00, it adds up and is less grievous on our pocket books than taking $25 a month and at Christmas say to the children, "sorry, no gifts for you, this year." Giving should not be to give yourself a pat on the back. And I believe that God does not say, "oh you are horrible because you are wealthy" and "you are wonderful because you are poor and do not have lake front property, gold jewelry, a Porsche, send your children to private school.etc."
