Why people more believe in monster than god?

Ask anybody do you believ in god ,replied would be yes.They say God is only one who is driving us and saving us from bad things.If asked abt monster,reply will be "what stupid question is it".nevertheless many people are scared of monster,giant even if they know very well that there are no more monsters exist in this world.They dont have time to talk abt God,whn it comes to share somethingh they would come with new experience.So what do you think in whome people believ more?
