Hello my4boys....... For lime from hard water the best thing to use is a spray bottle filled with white vinegar. It may take several applications to be really affective. Spray an area every five or ten minutes, the acid in the vinegar will eat away the lime eventually with almost no scrubbing at all. For really tough built up lime, soak paper towels and lay them on the area you want cleaned, spray it every hour or so to keep it wet. Works great on water spots on shower doors and mirrors too. Inexpensive, non-toxic and will not affect tile, grout, or wall board. Tom

Well I am a housekeeper and let me tell ya the enemy is water spots and lime that come through with your water. You say tile....I assume that it is your shower tiles you are having trouble with? First off I must tell you that water spots are almost impossible to get off. Even we have not found a cleaner that takes care of it. But we do have a methid that seems to help the problem-but it is very time consuming. It consists of Ajax and a steel scrubber....this does help break up the surface stains but if there is stains below the surface, those ones are hopeless.
