Getting "spam" on your cell phone?

This ANNOYS me no end. I don't get it that frequently, and I have given my cell number to only those few that need it. When something comes in as a text message I get charged besides! (I need to count to ten to cool off). Can anyone offer any solutions and how often does this happen to you?

i never have had this happen, do you give your cell to the websites you shop on? maybe thats where it comes from..maybe you can call your provider and find a way to get it stopped.
