I am allergic to milk (and soy) and need to cut these items out of my diet. So please, if you have some milk free recipes (especially bread) let me know! Thanks!

Non-Dairy Cornbread Ingredients: 1 cup yellow cornmeal 1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1-2 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1 1/2 cup non-dairy creamer 1/3 cup vegetable oil PREPARATION: 1. Combine dry ingredients. 2. Add egg, non-dairy creamer and oil. 3. Pour into a greased 8x8 inch baking pan. 4. Bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes or until golden brown. *** Be careful not to overbake, so it won't taste dry.

here's a recipe for indian flat bread with now milk, it's really quick and easy to make. It's great with salad or to dip in soup. 1 1/2 cups flour 1/2 tsp salt 2 tsp oil 3/4 to 1 cup water In a large bowl, stir together flour, salt and oil. Slowly add water to form a soft dough. Knead for 5 minutes. Cover bowl with a tea towel and let stand 30-60 minutes. Divide dough into 14 equal peices and shape into balls. With a rolling pin roll each ball into 6 inch circles and fry in a dry pan over medium heat cook until brown on both sides. Serve warm. Have you ever tried oatmeal milk or almond milk? they are both pretty tasty and i think you can substitute them in most recipes that call for milk.
