Anybody out there study abroad?

I am currently in college right now and I am thinking about choosing to study abroad later in my education. To anyone out there that has done this or is thinking about this- where have you been or where would you recommend, and what type of experience was it for you? I just seems like it would be a once in a lifetime opportunity that I wouldn't want to pass up. thanks.
